The Range of Motion Foundation, highlights exciting career opportunities in sports medicine that can open doors to underserved students in Los Angeles County, to pursue further education and training in this field. Ultimately contributing to the growth and development of sports medicine professionals in our community.

VISION STATEMENT

Our vision is to inspire and equip high school students from diverse and economically challenged backgrounds to explore the dynamic realm of sports medicine. Through comprehensive education and mentorship, we empower these students to cultivate their skills and knowledge, fostering a new generation of compassionate and competent sports medicine professionals. By doing so, we aim to make impactful contributions to the health and well-being of athletes, the sports community, while also promoting inclusivity in the field.

The Range of Motion Foundation (ROMF) is a non-profit, 501(C)3 charitable organization. Tax ID #83-3047596.
This is an educational foundation, that addresses the limited exposure to sports medicine careers among high school students, especially those from underserved communities. Our “Return to Play” program introduces students to the field of sports medicine, equipping them academically and with ands-on experience, starting from sports physical therapy where students gain practical experience in rehabilitation techniques and corrective exercises to effectively manage injury recovery.

Additionally, our sports nutrition module emphasizes the role of nutrition and food-timing in sports performance. While our injury recovery module empowers students to identify risk factors and implement restorative protocols. Beyond technical skills, our professional development program offers leadership training and exposure to real-world settings, preparing students for diverse roles in sports medicine.

Our holistic curriculum integrates industry skills and leadership development, aiming to create well-rounded individuals with diverse backgrounds who are ready for patient care in sports medicine. By revealing career possibilities and providing a solid foundation, we encourage students to pursue further education and training in this field.
